Sulmona - A quarrel among scientists will end up before the Court:   yesterday the Judge Massimo De Cesare decided to bring the lawsuit against Santilli before the Court. Santilli  is from Abruzzo (Italy)  (born in Capracotta) but he now lives in the US. On november 2002, he libelled the two scientists Fabio Cardone and Roberto Mignani, claiming the authorship of their scientific findings with regards to the formulae and theories concerning the isotopies of the Special Theory of Relativity by Einstein and of the following considerations that brought to the hypothesis of reducing to zero the nuclear wastes production. Santilli, from his residence in Palm Harbour California (which is in fact Florida), put on the internet site www.scientificethics.org, the lawsuit for scientific plagiarism and libel that he brought against the two scientists, one of them, the envied Cardone who is from Abruzzo like him. All these accusals and lawsuits against the two scientists were refuted and dismissed by the Court in Rome.

DISPUTA SU RICERCA SCIENTIFICA, INGEGNERE A GIUDIZIO SULMONA (L'AQUILA)

(ANSA).

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ROW, ENGINEER WILL FACE A TRIAL IN SULMONA (L'AQUILA)

(ANSA) - SULMONA (L'AQUILA), 25 GIU - The scientific engineer Ruggero Maria Santilli, 73 years old - from Capracotta, but now living in Palm Harbor Florida (USA), has been sued for libel and will have to face the Court: he sued for plagiarism and libel two professors, Fabio Cardone and Roberto Mignani, claiming the authorship of formulae and scientific theories in the field of the isotopies of the Special Theory of Relativity by Einstein. These happenings date back to november 2002 when Santilli uploaded on the site www.scientificethics.org that he runs and hence published on the Internet, his lengthy lawsuit for scientific plagiarism against Cardone and Mignani. These two professors'names appeared on papers when, thanks to their scientific findings they announced the possibility to produce new forms of energies from nuclear wastes. According to Santilli the two scientists had only copied his formulae and drawn consequencies based on the scientific researches by Minkowski and Lorentz. Cardone, who is from Sulmona, and Mignani had to face an inquest by the Rome Court because of Santilli statements, but later on the same Court dismissed these accusals. This has not been the case for Santilli who will have to face a trial in Sulmona the next november 19. (ANSA).
